Fabulous, recently renovated cottage in the historic and picturesque village of Escrick in North Yorkshire. There are lots of lovely walks in the surrounding area and a couple of fabulous restaurants on the doorstep of the property and a spectacular spa. A 15 minute drive into the centre of York with more great restaurants, historic buildings , museums, galleries and a great night life. A 10 minute drive to the McArtherGlen shopping centre with lots of designer stores with outlet prices. Off the spacious entrance hall there is as utility room, the cosy living room and the dinning kitchen. The utility room is perfect for muddy boots or ironing clothes (iron and ironing board included). The living room has comfy sofa seating for four people, a footstool and an electric stove that kicks out a substantial amount of heat. The kitchen is fully equipped with every utensil, pots, pans, gadgets and cutlery you have in your kitchen at home. There is plenty of counter and cupboard space along with a four ring electric hob, an oven and fridge. The delightful farmhouse dinning table and chairs seats 4 people. Upstairs there are two bedrooms and a family bathroom. Bedroom 1 has lovely views of the historic Escrick church. There’s a comfortable double bed with bedside tables and lamps. With space for hanging clothes and storage in the bedside units. Bedroom 2 has a double bed, space for hanging clothes, a bedside unit with lamp and a chair. The family bathroom has a bath, an over bath shower, sink, vanity storage unit and toilet. Access to the property is via Skipwith Road. There is a large driveway with parking for 2/3 vehicles.
