The Hut is a 2 bedroom fully equipped gem based in the peaceful village of West Pennard, close to Glastonbury. A tranquil spot with breathtaking views surrounded by the countryside which sets the scene for long walks, and family time. An opportunity to relax in truly individual cosy decor. An outdoor al fresco patio area perfect for dining together. Walking distance to a wonderful Gastro Pub, The Lion and close to the famous Tor and Chalice Well. An ideal base to explore Glastonbury and afar! A truly relaxing space for anyone to enjoy, from those travelling alone, families, friends and couples. A Master bedroom with a Superking size bed and fitted wardrobes with integral drawers. A first floor bedroom with four single beds and a separate toilet and sink. The first floor also has a small lounge area with a sofa and wall mounted television along with a dressing table. The Jack and Jill bathroom design is inviting featuring a shower cubicle, WC and sink unit. The main hub of The Hut is the lounge area with fully fitted kitchen, QLED television with Sonos sound bar, electric wood burner, dining area and comfy sofas add to the overall cosy feel of The Hut. The kitchen is fully equipped with a washer/dryer, dishwasher, sink, ceramic hob, microwave and fan oven. The patio area overlooking the view with an outdoor dining table and chairs for six people is a great spot to sit back, relax, enjoy eating a meal together or to use as a place to read a book with a nice cup of tea. As you leave the property there are fantastic views of The Glastonbury Tor which change as the sun sets and rises. Truly breathtaking! The hosts are both welcoming and friendly, and will be happy to answer any questions that you may have when booking. Guests have The Hut accommodation to themselves along with gated private parking. They will also have the reassurance of a Covid level clean between each booking. Turn into the driveway of Hope House and enter The Hut's own gated parking area. If I am at home at Hope House, I will be available if needed, otherwise I will be contactable on my mobile phone or via Airbnb. West Pennard is a peaceful, welcoming, village with a beautiful church and local village hall. It is 4 miles from Glastonbury and West Pennard has a wonderful local pub, The Lion, which is in walking distance. Close to The Glastonbury Tor, the Chalice Well, Glastobury Abbey and Wells, the smallest city in England is a 20 minute drive away. There are lots of local walks and the village is 50 minutes to Bath and Bristol. Castle Cary train station is a 20 minute car journey away with trains to London Paddington. We are also 40 minutes to Longleat Safari Park and 25 minutes to Wookey Hole Caves and attractions. Lots of things to visit are within walking distance. The Hut is a perfect base for anyone attending The Glastonbury Festival. Private gated parking spaces are available at The Hut at Hope House. A food pack will be at The Hut for you to enjoy when you arrive.
