Abundant with amazing lunch time cafes, a wine bar with wood fired pizza in the evenings and the bowls club has beers and burgers most Friday nights. We have the famous Loch Distillery, antiques, gifts, clothes, art, Ops and other stores. It’s a creative, arty, friendly, inviting and warm place to be. - There’s usually something on, whether it’s a local musical talent at the wine bar, the market Sunday, a concert at the local town hall, barefoot bowls and beers at the local bowling green, pottery or art classes with some of our talented local artists or an exhibition at the Art Space. Not to mention the show nature puts on every day here, where the birds are happy, the hills are rolling and the grass is green. - There are wonderful walks, views in literally all directions of those mesmerizing hills, parks with bbq’s and swings and the Loch Memorial Reserve with the landmark suspension bridge, playground, camping and caravan accommodation and glorious hills with cows overlooking the oval with local matches on weekends. **Around Loch (base camp here and explore!) - We’re 5-30 minutes from a number of amazing places, experiences, beaches, restaurants, venues and all in the most beautiful rolling green hills. To name a few… • Great Southern Rail Trail (65km flat cycle or walk trail that passes through Loch) • Gippsland Wine Company - Loch (hmm, local wine & yummy food!) • Archies Creek (with top billing musical performances & food at the Archies Creek Hotel) • Kilkunda Rail Bridge (a railway bridge literally on the beach!) • Trulli’s @ Meeniyan (pizza, deserts & deli fare to die for) • Kongwak (famous for its Sunday market) • Poowong - (cute & quiet town with a fantastic local pool & great pub meals!) • Korumburra (with some great pubs, eateries and shops) • Leongatha (big character town at the foothills of the Strzeslecki ranges) • Strzelecki Ranges (breathtaking views from the car or the trail!) • Inverloch (gorgeous inlet beach with plenty to buy & eat!) • Venus Bay (beautiful beaches & walks) • Garfield (famous for its Garfield Theatre - which is a music and show venue) VLine bus into town several times a day (comes from Southern Cross Station) Parking super easy on the street out the front (although it gets busy on weekends, you’ll always find a spot!)
