Cedar Heights offers luxury accommodation and private hot tub, set on a hilltop over-looking the village and countryside of Burton Joyce. A perfect place to relax and unwind in a tranquil setting and explore the local area and river walks. Cedar Heights is a contemporary self-contained building located at the top of a large private garden to the main residence. The private outdoor facilities include, hot tub, large decked terrace and outdoor furniture. Internally, the accommodation offers, kitchenette with kettle, toaster, microwave, fridge freezer & electric travel hob. Kitchen utensils and crockery are provided for basic cooking. The accommodation is furnished with a king-size bed, sofa, kitchen table and chairs. The ensuite offers a large shower cubicle, electric shower, WC, hand basin, and heated towel rail. Cedar Heights benefits from underfloor heating, free Wi-Fi, flat screen TV with Netflix and other apps available (guest log in details required), fresh linen, towels and robes, complimentary shampoo, conditioner, body wash and handwash. On arrival guests will find a small complimentary welcome basket including wine, nibbles, tea, and biscuits. If you have any additional needs, please feel free to ask and we will endeavour to fulfil your requests. Guest access Cedar Heights is located on a stunning hillside plot. There are a large number of steep steps to climb to reach the accommodation, but you will be rewarded by the beautiful views. The accommodation has a dedicated parking space on the private driveway to the main residence. If additional parking is required, this can be arranged on request. You will have your own keys to access the accommodation, but guests are asked to be mindful of times they are entering and leaving the property in order to keep disturbance to the host and neighbours to a minimum. Please note, we do not allow the guests to use the hot tub past 10pm. Things to do Burton Joyce is located just a 15 minute drive from Nottingham City Centre & 20 minutes to the amenities of Newark. There are regular train and bus services to either destination. Within a short walk from the accommodation there is a selection of 3 pubs, CO-OP convenience store, fish & chip shop, Chinese takeaway, post office and Boots the chemist. There’s a wide choice of countryside walks on the doorstep. Favourites include the walk along the River Trent down to Gunthorpe Lock or up and over to the village of Lambley. Both benefit from a great variety of local pubs and restaurants. The historic town of Southwell and its famous Minster, boutique shops and cafes are well worth a visit. Sherwood Forest, the home of Robin Hood is great for walks and cycling and is only a 20 minute drive away. Burton Joyce is located to just a 15 minute drive to Nottingham City Centre & 20 minutes to the amenities of Newark. There are regular train and bus services to either destination.
