Holiday house for 6 pers. + shared pool in Tuscany

Beautifully restored half of a countryhouse which is part of a small tourist complex comprising 3 holiday apartments in total (maximum occupancy 14 people) which can be rented together with private use of the swimming pool or separately with use of the swimming pool shared with the other guests of the remaining 2 apartments. Located amid the countryside and on the edge of a hamlet of the Lucca area, 5 km from Bagni di Lucca, 30 km from Lucca, 50 km from Pisa and 80 km from Florence. Our holiday rental comprises three levels plus a basement, is about 140 m² and can accomodate up to 6 persons. On the ground floor, a living room with a fireplace, a bright kitchen and a balcony, which offers stunning views over the wonderful surrounding nature. On the first floor there are two nicely furnished double bedrooms. On the top floor we have a garret which comprises a bedroom with double bed and bath with shower. In the basement there is a bath with shower and our pretty cellar with table for 8 people. Outside, a large private garden completely fenced, an exclusive backyard, equipped with garden furniture, a wood-burning oven for delicious pizzas, roast chicken, etc. In our holiday house you will find as well: books and tourist brochures. Shared swimming pool (4 x 10 m, salt water, 140 cm deep) + extra large shared garden is available for our guests only at a walking distance from the house entrance (just 40 meters on foot on a very sleepy no-through lane). The pool is usually open from early June to late September and is unheated. An English speaking person (it might be even the owner/manager) will welcome guests upon arrival. Owner/manager is not always on site but she is always reachable by phone/SMS/email and speaks English. Idyllic location, slightly remote (though we have a couple of neighbors), nestled in the countryside of Lucca and close to the woods. Perfect for those who love nature and animals (including wild animals: with a little luck you can hear the fox and the cuckoo in the distance and see the porcupine or some deer on the road leading to our holiday houses). Also ideal for those who enjoy walking and want to forget for a few days the noise of the city. There is a daily bus service (about 4 runs a day) from our village (Guzzano) to Bagni di Lucca (10 minutes drive). The car is however advisable in order to visit the surroundings. You can use the train to reach Lucca and also Florence. Average distance by train: Bagni di Lucca - Lucca (30 minutes), Lucca - Florence (1 hour). Our holiday rental is located deep in the countryside and on the edge of a tiny village of 50 hinabitants. A narrow road drivable with small cars crosses it. Cars can be parked within our property or in case of medium-large ones on the village parking at about 200 meters asphalted distance from our house, to be covered on foot. On request we are happy to carry for free your luggage on the day of your arrival/departure from the village parking to our holiday houses with our car.
