A spacious holiday home situated in the picturesque seaside village of Borth y Gest. This house does not have sea views, however, it is positioned 100m from Borth-y-Gest beach. This is a perfect base for a family group or a group of friends to stay and explore the area & North Wales. If your holiday dates get effected by a Government imposed 'Lockdown' and you can't legally come on your holiday. Borth-y-Gest is a lovely village next to the sea with a little shop, cafe and the popular restaurant 'Moorings'. The coastal footpath provides stunning panoramic views across the estuary, where so many wading birds can be seen feeding, and accessing the beautiful sandy coves and beaches. The steam train station at Porthmadog is just 15 min walk away from the property, passing by the old quay. Portmeirion is tucked away just around the headland and a short car journey away for relaxing days strolling through the village and gardens. Porthmadog town caters well for the holiday maker, with a variety of tasteful gift shops, cafes, inns, restaurants, museum and supermarkets. The mountains of Snowdonia National Park border is only 3 miles away with the magnificent Snowdon mountain and Beddgelert only 7 miles away.. The castles at Harlech, Cricieth and Caernarfon are all within 30 mins drive. This is a good central location for a holiday property in North Wales. PLEASE respect and follow them in the spirit they are given: CHECK IN: PLEASE arrive no earlier than 5:00 pm so the cleaners have plenty of time to clean and sanitise the property for you. 1) Please TIDY AND CLEAN THE PROPERTY at the end of your stay, this is to protectors the cleaners. 2) Beds must be stripped and the BED LINEN & TOWELS put into BIN BAGS. 3) ALL RUBBISH & RECYCLING MUST BE REMOVED from the property at the end and into outside bins. Please ensure that you sort your refuse appropriately, the bins are emptied on a Monday. 4) CHECK OUT BEFORE 10AM PLEASE so we are able to start cleaning and sanitising the property. You must not invite anyone inside the property apart from the persons compromising the original party at the time that the Booking was made IF the Welsh Assembly Government have set 'households limits'. These household restrictions are imposed by the Welsh Assembly Government to reduce the spread of COVID-19. Please make yourself aware of the latest version of rules to follow from the Welsh Government website.
