Unique Date Night. Your all inclusive stay!

Your package includes exclusive use of the secluded accommodation in our luxury belle tent and surrounding area (including that hot tub of course)! * Large outdoor cinema - loads of movies to choose from or byo on usb * Grazing platter * A bottle of Blumond, Italian blue bubbly * 4 pack of beer from Bent Spoke brewery * Softdrinks and juice * Supplies for coffee, tea and hot chocolate * Provisions for a BBQ breakfast and cereals Please let us know in advance if you would like us to show you around, or meet the animals while you're here. Otherwise, we are usually available on site if you would like help with something, we hope you will feel comfortable to ask :) We know how hard it is to find the quality time to spend with your favourite person - so there's no need to take up any of that time in planning, we've gone and done it all for you!! All you need to do is lock in a booking and we'll take care of the rest!!! How does this sound for starters - You'll meander through our unassuming working farm, past the house and farm shed, until you nestle down in to a hidden cove by the 'creek' surrounded by native landscaping. Awaiting at the site of your Unique Date Night, you will discover a 2 person wood fired hot tub (there is no shower available yet), luxurious belle tent (heated with a wood fire to keep it toasty even during the most cold winter nights), and a 2m projector screen and sound system ready to play your favourite tunes or movies. We have taken care of dinner, with our specially designed 'Ultimate Grazing Box' full of a delicious mix of meats, cheese, dips, crackers, fruits, sweets and other goodies accompanied by a glass of Blumond or locally sourced beer (all chilled for you). As the sun disappears, you might like to make use of the selection of movies available via the hard drive (or byo USB) to play on the big screen, or enjoy the serenity and wrap yourselves in luxurious robes and star gaze with a mug of hot chocolate and campfire s'mores. At the end of the night, you will land in a king size bed with plush linen and your choice of pillows. In the morning, please take your time checking out - enjoy waking with the bird song, a leisurely brekky cooked on the barbeque, and maybe another dip in that beautiful tub - it'll be icy unless you manage to keep wood up to it through the night, but we'll leave supplies so you can light it, if you decide to. The property is completely off grid so you can truly slow down, and enjoy the seclusion, focusing on your favourite person without the interruptions that come with being connected! Mobile reception is sketchy at best, so please bring any movies on your external storage device (we do provide a selection on hard drive). Enjoy being off grid and the uninterrupted quality time with your favourite person. Important note about the hot tub - if for some reason, we are unavailable to have the hot tub, (Website hidden by Airbnb) the time you arrive, it will all be ready for you to light. When lighting the hot tub from scratch, it is super easy but does take around 90 minutes to get to a hot temp (longer if it’s freezing cold outside temperature, and a lot less if it’s a hot summer’s evening). We will provide a full set of instructions in the Guidebook virtually and in hard copy in the tent and via message to you on booking. Please keep the cover on the hot tub whenever it’s not in use, and if you remember to open the tap to empty the hot tub before you leave, we really appreciated it! Note also - we do live in an area with other farms surrounding us. Our neighbours are absolutely wonderful, and part of their ideal life is being able to let their kiddies ride a motorbike, or maybe plough or slash their paddocks. We truly hope that any noise associated with these pastimes/farming endeavors, are limited from dusk-morning so that your peace isn't disrupted and you can enjoy a peaceful stay with us in the countryside! Mini Photo Shoot! In partnership with Vision Photography Canberra, we are excited to offer our guests an amazing value mini shoot. $120 will give you up to 30 minute session and 10 high quality images, provided electronically. The shoot will take place during the date night (not transferable to another location). We will put you in touch with the team on booking, if you would like to take advantage of this great offer. Wildlife - you will probably spot wombats, kangaroos and bunnies, as well as our horses and sheep. Your stay is on a working farm and you are welcome to interact with the horses, please beware the fences are electric and we ask that you stay on the safe side of the fence. While they're friendly, we would hate for your toes to be accidentally stood on! Cats - we have two kitties who have decided they love to follow guests 'home' if they visit us at the house. They will probably snoop around the site a little and then wander back home, so please don't be alarmed, and any nastiness towards them or any other animals on the property, will not be tolerated. Dietary requirements - Please talk to us if you have any allergies we should be aware of. While we make every endeavor to cater for dietary needs, the majority of the items are sourced from delicatessens, and as such we cannot guarantee there has been no cross contamination. If your are joining us for a special celebration, we would love to help customise your package, limited only by your imagination! I can picture the tent full of helium balloons, or you might be celebrating a milestone that calls for a custom made cake, a cocktail kit waiting for you, a simple scattering of rose petals on the bed and, or in the tub....for a few ideas! Fire safety - We provide plenty of wood and fire starters. If the fire in the tub goes out, it takes a minimum of 2 hours to warm back up to 38 degrees in cold weather (we will make sure it's at temperature for your arrival, and recommend you keep the wood up to it so you can enjoy throughout your stay). If you're visiting in summer, we can keep it as a refreshing 'plunge bath', or heated - please let us know if you have a preference. We won't light the fireplace in the tent for you in summer but there sill be supplies so you can light it during the evening if you need it. During times of increased fire danger, we ask that you refrain from using the fire pit - no supplies will be available to light it at these times. Access - your drive to the site is across about 5km of dirt road, it's all weather and any vehicle can safely drive down, but there will be potholes to dodge and corrugations to add to your adventure. Directions will be provided on booking, but we are near Tarago, you can will reach us in under an hour from Canberra, 30 minutes from Bungendore or Goulburn, and about 2 1/2 hours from Sydney. Check in from 3pm, check out 1pm (we will do our best to accomodate special requests outside of these times if there are no conflicting bookings, please ask). Other options - Unique Date Night is also the perfect SOLO STAY or GIRLS NIGHT OUT!! You really should take some time out of your busy schedule to prioritise yourself!! We are excited to offer a solo stay in the Unique Date Night suite, the perfect place to step back from daily life, disconnect, find rest and help restore clarity. You might like to take some time to meditate, relax by the fire with your favourite book, or perhaps in the tub with a glass of red while taking in the stunning, star filled sky. We hope our solo stay guests drive away feeling renewed and ready to go back and enjoy all the crazy beautiful that life is. How about that long overdue catch up with your best friend - picture reclining by the fire with cocktails in hand, and maybe enjoying your grazing box while you catch up on the months that have flown past. You're disconnected here, so you won't have any interruptions from the kids or life outside. You can enjoy a sleep in, kick back in the tub, maybe enjoy some time quietly reading your novel in the sunshine....you just need to turn up, everything else is done for you! Strictly no smoking inside the tent please. We've spent years dreaming about this concept, and truly hope it's a wonderful and memorable experience for all of our guests.
