Situated in the conservation village of Ashprington, The Durant Arms is a dog-friendly country inn with a public bar, dining area & three en-suite guest bedrooms that are accessed by stairs; breakfasts are cooked to order. All rooms offer Freeview TV, coffee & tea making facilities, guest toiletries & free wifi in most areas. We are a family run free-house serving real ales, ciders & hearty home-cooked food with welcoming log burners on chilly days. Accompanied dog in room £5 extra per night. ROOM 2 - a standard twin room with an en-suite bathroom with a bath. It has two comfortable twin beds, a flat screen Freeview TV, tea and coffee making facilities, and complimentary toiletries. A hairdryer and towels are provided for you to use. Plus wifi is available in most areas. Access to Room 2 is via a private guest side-entrance and a flight of stairs. The fantastic coastline of the South Hams district offers quiet isolated coves through to popular and extensive beaches such Bantham, Bigbury and Blackpool Sands and is within easy access by car from The Durant Arms, and Dartmoor National Park is about 30 minutes drive away making us an ideal base to explore the area. Sharpham vineyard is just 15 minutes walk away and we are conveniently located on the South Devon national cycle route No. 28 and The Dart Valley scenic walking trail to Totnes.
