The Rock Garden- on Big Lake

Come reset, relax and enjoy the beautiful views of Big Lake. Our place is a cosy 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom cottage with all the modern amenities. There is a large covered deck where you can dine out and BBQ in the summer. In those warmer months there is also a dock by the water to enjoy sun bathing, swimming, and kayaking. It is situated 10 minutes from Peggy’s cove and about 30 minutes to downtown Halifax. There are multiple hiking options just a short drive away as well as many restaurants. This is a nice, cosy, and comfy 3 bedrooms, two bathrooms one level house. The master bedroom has amazing views of the lake and includes a master bathroom with walk in closet. The kitchen, dinning area, and living room are all in one open space with a 9 foot ceiling and huge windows for constant views of the lake. By the entrance you will find the laundry room (just a small room with stacked washer and dryer). There is a nice large covered deck which allows to enjoy the outdoors even when the weather is not cooperating! In the summer months there will be a propane fire pit available. Note there are steep rocks on the property and leading to the water’s edge. The water gets deep quickly and children should be watched at all times. Property is located on a private lane way and long drive way. Plenty of parking space. The property is 3.5 acres. Independent check in- door with key pad. Code will be provided upon the beginning of the stay. Situated on Big lake, close to the main road yet quiet. This way you can relax but also get around quickly. 10 minutes from Peggy’s cove and 25 minutes to Bayers lake (groceries, NSLC, restaurants, movie theatre). We are situated outside of the city in a quiet rural environment. Plenty of parking here- definitely need a car to get around. Dinning room table- can open to be made bigger and 2 more chairs available in the closet of one of the bedrooms. Tv has cable- to access Netflix: using the Bell remote- hit guide- then 333 (Netflix) then hit select and Netflix will say press ok (use select button again) press it and select the “rock garden” profile.
