Large family home with huge garden near St Ives

This large 4-bed family home with drive sits on a quiet country lane conveniently located close to the golden sand beaches of Hayle, St Ives, Gwithian and Godrevy. Close to enchanting St Ives, magical St Michael's Mount it is the ideal location for exploring the whole of West Cornwall. The open plan layout offers two sitting rooms, wood burner, kitchen with breakfast bar, utility room and a dining/garden room with large windows onto the spacious, secluded garden with a trampoline. The open plan nature of the ground floor gives lots of space to play, sit, read or relax with 180-degree views of the large garden to safely watch the kids at play. The house is not overlooked so you have privacy to enjoy the views from the deck over the valley. There is a private driveway and parking for 3 cars. It is a light, warm, airy family-friendly home with a nearby playing field with a football pitch, zip slide, swings and climbing frames - a great place to send the kids if they want even more space at the top of the quiet lane, only 1 min walk away. We love the fact that you are in the country but very well connected to easily explore both coasts. You can take the scenic train from St Erth Station (10 min walk) to visit the cobbled streets of St Ives or if you prefer to explore on foot, you can get straight onto the beautiful Penwith moorland and Trencrom hill via the footpath at the top of our lane. It really is a great location! The bedrooms are all a good size, with the master bedroom having a kingsize bed and en suite bathroom and built-in wardrobe. The twin bedroom has 2 single beds and a built-in wardrobe. The other two single bedrooms (which are my children's) both have cabin beds installed. So are not suitable for anyone with accessibility issues. **Update** Last summer (2021) due to high demand, it was virtually impossible to source a cleaner, and the one I did find, unfortunately, didn't do a good enough job for some of my guests - and I had some bad reviews because of it. I have since rectified this situation for this year (2022) and there will be no more problems with the cleaning. The whole house including a driveway for up to 3 cars with a huge garden is all yours for the duration of your stay. We will be staying off-site and nearby. The keys will be left in the Key Safe for your collection. We have put together a file for you with lots of local information, things to do and places to see in the area. From great walks, surfing, paddleboarding, soft play, golf, fishing or rock pooling and exploring. It's all here. This is our home so there are plenty of books to read and children's toys to play with. We only ask that you leave them behind when you return home. There is also a comprehensive guide on how to work everything in the house from the TV and DVD player to Microwave, oven and hob. But do call if you need anything. Please note: The two single bedrooms have cabin beds and are not suitable for people with accessibility issues. Situated on a quiet country lane surrounded by fields with a children's play park nearby, the house is completely private and not overlooked. We are in the country yet close to the A30 for easy access to both north and south coasts. Just 5 mins drive to St Michael's Mount, 10 mins to St Ives and only 5 mins away from the golden sand beaches at Hayle, Gwithian and Godrevy. Brooklyn Cottage is the ideal base to explore the beauty of West Cornwall. As well as the stunning north and south coast beaches which are within 5 mins drive of the house, we are 10 mins walk (1 mins drive) from the train station at St Erth which connects the nearby towns of St Ives (voted the most scenic rail journey in Europe) also Penzance, Hayle, Truro and Falmouth. We are a 1hr drive from the Eden Project and 45 mins from Newquay airport. Although we are well connected to public transport. I would suggest bringing a car or hiring one for ease of getting around. So much to see and do here. Our changeover day is Saturday and checkout is 10am.
