AirB&B The Old Gatehouse

The Old Gate House is build in 1880, it oozes history. Beautifully restored and fully equipped, it is a quiet retreat in the middle of the old center of 's-Heerenberg. Bikes are available, your walking shoes needed for a hike or a ride in the low hills of Montferland. Visit the big castle almost next to the appartment and enjoy the antique shops in de region. Wifi available. The Old Gate House is old, but comfortable with good beds, a fully equiped but simple kitchen and a small bathroom. There is a tiny patio near your own front door for outdoor sitting. Indoor you have a drawingroom to relax in. You can leave your car on the street although that can be busy. When no parkingspace is available, you can park your car at the parking near the Lidl, a 2 minute walk from the house. Nearest trainstation is Zevenaar. I am in the house most of the time (downstairs), if not, then I am to be reached by celphone if you need advice or help. 's-Heerenberg is a small, historical town in the neighbourhood of a large woodland where you can walk, bike and enjoy nature. Bikes are provided for our guests. Would you like to have a breakfast available for the first morning, then we can make sure there are eggs, ham and bread etc in the larder. Only on request and at a reasonable price.
