Cosy Room on ecological finca

The mountains behind, the sea in front... If you are looking for a place in nature and where you can spend sustainable and conscient holidays in community, this is the perfect place for you! Our 400-year-old house, Casa el Riego, is located on the eastern part of the island which hasn’t been touched by mass tourism yet and is offering best climatic conditions for sunny vacations. We dispose on 6 double rooms, each one with its own bathroom and with a total capacity of 12 persons. Those who like to prepare food on their own or together with other hosts are welcome to use our ample and well-equipped common kitchen with drinkable water. Our hosts can work and eat either in their rooms or in our outside space with phantastic views on the sea and the mountains. While you can heat yourself next to our fireplace during the fresher evenings, our 12x4 meter salt water pool invites you to refresh yourself on warmer days. We dispose on a 5G connection in the whole space. The next bus stop at approx. 25 minutes walking distance so you should either like walking and have a good condition as this is a mountain! For people who want to explore the island and who have children, we highly recommend to rent a car. If you are looking for quietness, you will find it here! We are sourrounded by paths with hilarious views and legendary canyons. The Valley of Guimar is a green and unspoilt valley with a high number of natives. The little town of Guimar has a beautiful old centre with a good selection of restaurants and a very good market. We are a German-French family with two kids that loves to be in nature and that is happy to share this little piece of paradise with our hosts. We love climbing and the mountain and we are happy to guide you to the most beautiful spots of the island. On our ecological finca are growing diverse exotic trees that give us delicious fruits several times a year and which can be tasted by our hosts. For cleaning, our building projects and renovations we only use ecological and sustainable products and materials.
