Travellers can experience authentic Sri Lankan city living. You will enjoy easy access to everything from this centrally located place. Close to cafes, bars and restaurants. There is a spacious bedroom, lounge/dressing area, kitchen, bathroom and large balcony. Access to the property is through a code padlock and code lock on the door. Additional internal locks provide further security. Guests will have to climb a spiral staircase to enter the property (shown in the photos). The host has a designated contact in Sri Lanka. Details will be provided as required. Please keep in touch with your host through Air b’n’b. The neighbourhood is largely residential with good access to cafes, restaurants and supermarkets close by. The neighbourhood has a ‘shanty’ lane amidst the residential houses and gives a flavour of typical city life in Colombo. There is also a local market or ‘pola’ within walking distance. You can hail a tuk tuk from the main road which is within a minute’s walk. Uber can easily find the flat if you put the pin location as “Deanna’s Beach House.” Sri Lanka is currently subject to short notice water and electricity outages. There is an overhead tank at the property and we strive to ensure guests have access to sufficient water but in the event of a prolonged outrage there may be some restrictions to water. The property does not have a generator. Any electricity outages will impact airconditioning, microwave and refrigeration facilities. Gas cooking facilities are available at the property but not provided at the current time due to safety concerns with gas cylinders in Sri Lanka. This position can be changed for long term let’s. A microwave is available at the property.
