Paynters Granary is a detached converted barn with lovely outdoor space. There is an open plan kitchen/ living area with doors out onto patio area, with a large beamed bedroom and bathroom on the first floor. There is also a double sofa bed in the living area. There is ample parking and free WiFi. Guests are welcome to enjoy the garden, and also have their own outdoor area to relax in. We are situated a short walk (less than 5 minutes) to local village amenities. Beautifully furnished open plan living/dining and kitchen area on the ground floor of the property, opening onto a patio and garden area. The first floor compromises of a bathroom with shower and large bedroom with high beamed ceilings, king sized and plenty of storage. There is also a double sofa bed in the communal area. Ample parking is available at the property. The property is a short walk (less than 5 minutes) to village amenities including a local shop, pharmacy, 3 pubs, a bakery, lovely coffee shop and an Indian take away. Hayward’s Heath train station is 10-15 minute drive away and has excellent connections into London (approx 45 minutes to London Victoria, Clapham Junction, City Thameslink line into Blackfriars, London Bridge and King Cross St Pancras). Regular taxis available to Newick from Hayward’s Heath around the clock, Hosts live in the farmhouse next door, someone will normally be available in person to answer any questions guests have. Hosts will always be available via phone/ email to help. Newick is a lovely, pretty village in East Sussex. The property is a short walk (less than 5 minutes) to village amenities including a local shop, pharmacy, 3 pubs, a bakery, lovely coffee shop and an Indian take away. The property is a short drive from various local landmark attractions including the South Downs, Glyndebourne, Ardingly College, Ardingly Show Ground, Ashdown Forest (inspiration for the Hundred Acre Wood), Brighton town and beach, Lewes and countless picturesque country side walks and villages. Ample parking at the property, the village amenities can be accessed by foot. Most local attractions have parking available, Hayward’s Heath Station provides easy rail access to London and Brighton.
