Dowlais Cottage & Zig Zag Cottage are next door to each other and combined they can accommodate 9 adults & 1 child. The cottages are in the countryside and only 8.6 miles from Snowdon! Zig Zag Cottage has 4 bedrooms (sleeps 7) and Dowlais Cottage with 1 bedroom (2 adults & 1 child). Both cottages share a big garden at the back. These cottages are perfect for a big group of people wanting to explore North Wales. If your holiday dates get effected by a Government imposed 'Lockdown' and you can't legally come on your holiday. Then you can ask Airbnb to cancel your holiday & get a refund and we (the host) wouldn't object and support your claim. ......... Dowlais & Zig Zag Cottages can accommodate up to 7 guests in Zig Zag Cottage (4 bedroom) and additional 2 guests in Dowlais Cottage (1 bedroom). Combined they can accommodate 9 adults and 1 child. The living accommodation in Zig Zag is large enough to accommodate all guests. You can bring up to 2 dogs to these properties at a £40 Pet Charge. However, if you have more then 3+ dogs then by request we would accpet more dogs at a £20 Pet Charge each. Please let us know if you want to bring more then 2 dogs with you on holiday. There are Parking for 4 cars front of the cottages. ............ PARKING: Room for parking in front of the cottages EXTRA: These are self-catering cottages that does not have 'housekeeping services' like cleaning during your stay at the cottage. As the owner of the cottages lives next door, she will meet you to give you the keys and is available to help in person if needed throughout your stay With plenty of walks from the doorstep just outside the village of Llanllyfni, 7 miles from Caernarfon and 10 miles from Porthmadog. Situated near the begining of the Nantlle Ridge, a local challenge of mountain ridges between Snowdon and the Sea. Snowdon itself is 11 miles away and the closest carpark and path up the highest mountian in Wales is at Rhyd Ddu (8 mls). The cottages are only 5.2 miles from the award winning sandy beach at Dinas Dinlle. Caernarfon town (7.8 mls) has plenty of shops and places to eat down 'Hole in the Wall' street which is adjacent to the magnificent castle standing guard on the harbourside. Llanberis (12 mls) is another must do with steam trains going up Snowdon from the village and footpaths acending it's lofty heights. Lots to do in the area from visiting Wetland reserves, indoor climbing centre, walking on the beach or climbing mountains. Recommended area for easy access to Snowdonia, Lleyn peninsula and Anglesey. PLEASE respect and follow them in the spirit they are given: CHECK IN: PLEASE arrive no earlier than 4:00 pm so the cleaners have plenty of time to clean and sanitise the property for you. 1) Please TIDY AND CLEAN THE PROPERTY at the end of your stay, this is to protectors the cleaners. 2) Beds that have been used must be stripped and the BED LINEN put into BIN BAGS. 3) ALL RUBBISH & RECYCLING MUST BE REMOVED from the property at the end of your stay and put in the outside bins. Please ensure that you sort your refuse appropriately. 4) CHECK OUT BEFORE 10AM PLEASE so we are able to start cleaning and sanitising the property. You must not invite anyone inside the property apart from the persons compromising the original party at the time that the Booking was made IF the Welsh Assembly Government have set 'households limits'. These household restrictions are imposed by the Welsh Assembly Government to reduce the spread of COVID-19.
