A quaint little hideaway on the edge of the desert and a calm Bay. No large hotels, no tourist traps. An old house with a lot of history, oriented to the sunset, surrounded by desert scenery and simple comforts. Conceived to focus on entertaining guests, enjoying time with family and friends. No extreme luxury, just the basic comforts and front row view to the mountains, bay and sunset. The sand is dark, of volcanic and coral origin wear flip flops after noon as the sand can get very hot. Our house has been in our family for about 4 generations. It was constructed to be practical and comfortable without using too many resources, like we have a desert garden instead of a thick grass lawn in order to conserve water in a desert area. The house was planned in a way to invite people to enjoy the common areas with friends and family while wrapped in the scenery and nature. It's not opulent but it's comfortable, practical and surrounded by natural beauty that motivates adventure and entertainment. You will have access to all areas in the house, in the back and front yards. There is a small service house with a service kitchen that Maria can use to prepare anything you ask her to do without getting in your way. On the beach there are many piers that belong to the house they are in front of. We don't have a pier because we don't have a boat. Please don't use the one to the left, it belongs to the neighbors. They usually have lounge chairs and a table on the pier, they DON'T like to share. To the right there are many more piers where you can jump to the water. Our favorite is the second pier to the right (about 30m from the front of the house), the one made of concrete. There is a nice sand beach next to the pier where you can sink your feet in the sand and enjoy a nice calm beach with very small waves. You might see people in ATVs on the beach, wave runners, kayaks, and boats on the bay. The beach never feels crowded but be respectful of people's space, don't leave trash or make too much noise... We love our neighborhood as it is, we hope you will too… Bring you own bicycle, ATV, or dirt bike... enjoy the mountains, other beaches, or a ride to the towns.
