Cabernet Tiny House - A Windeyer Outback Experience
G'day, mountain bikers and nature lovers! Come join us for an adventure in our Dreams Alpaca Farm in Windeyer. We are a working farm. Here you will have a lovely farmstay and experience the outback in our 300 acres of farm land. You can go mountain biking on our trails (bring your own bikes) and bushwalking. Farm tour (e.g. meet our cute alpacas, feed the animals, watch our farm dogs round up the goats, etc) is available at extra cost and pre-booking is required. You will need to stay at least 2 nights in order to have sufficient time to enjoy the tour. Please enquire with your host if you are interested to participate. You can also relax and read a book inside our tiny home. Life is good! Important note : There are 3 other tiny houses and 1 cabin on this property which are also rented out, so expect some company from other guests as some areas are shared. Experience living off the grid and truly disconnect here. Our tiny house is eco-friendly and solar powered. It offers guests a comfortable stay with its well-equipped kitchenette, complete with a queen sized bed, and ensuite bathroom. Perfect for 2 persons! The kitchenette has everything you need to cook your light meals with. A gas stove, cookware, cooking utensils, cutlery, dishes & silverware and a cooler box. Our bathroom facilities follow ecologically sustainable principles, including a waterless eco-friendly compost toilet, hand basin and shower (gas heated for hot showers). In Australia's severe climatic challenge of bush fires and drought, we help to save the environment by conserving water using an eco-friendly toilet. Wastes are broken down in the compost toilet via an aerobic decomposition process. It is a waterless system (no need to flush!), whereas a standard dual flush toilet would use up to 350L of water per week. An aeration fan helps in the decomposition process and minimises odours. If you're using your own soap, shampoo, tooth paste, we ask that you bring biodegradable ones so that the grey water runoff does not harm the environment. Thank you! This tiny house is fully powered by solar. Please note that during winters or on days with low light conditions, limited power is generated. It will be best to conserve power as much as possible to avoid running out of power at night. You can bring portable power banks to charge your handphone etc. Guest will have access to the tiny house and to the surrounding property except for the host's private residence. Please be considerate to other guests as there are also other accommodations rented out. As it is a huge property, please keep to the walking and biking trails and enquire with your host about the route before you start. You will enjoy a comfortable private space in the tiny house but feel free to chat with us! The Gold and Fleece Hotel is just 10 mins away from our property. It has over 100 years of history and is a very popular country pub. They are open from Tue - Fri 3pm till late and Sat - Sun 12pm till 12 midnight. Closed on Mondays.
