The North Wing - Wedding prep

The North Wing is the perfect place for your wedding preparations. We have 3 spacious bedrooms and 2 modern bathrooms, and a very large light filled sunroom, ideal for hair and make up. Our old sandstone home is a gorgeous backdrop for your pre-wedding photos, photography allowed both inside and on the grounds surrounding the house. We offer all bridal parties complimentary late checkout. The North Wing (circa 1910s) of the home was originally a separate building, and at some point joined to the main house via the Sun Room. This wing has its own living room, multiple exits, and access to the pool, laundry and kitchen. The dimensions of the room are typical of this era: with soaring ceilings and generous proportions. You won't even know you're in the main house. We also have the Ladies Room (in the Main House by the front door) available for house guests to enjoy. It's a charming place to sit and chat, and a beautiful room to be photographed in as it enjoys beautiful natural light during the day. In winter the bedrooms are toasty warm thanks to the wood burning combustion oven (wood provided). In summer the sandstone house stays cool, especially with bedroom curtains drawn, but we have fan for those rare hot, summer nights. For house guests the pool is conveniently accessed via a private door from the North Wing. The farm has ample parking. Check in instructions will show you where to park, and we'll show you how to access your own private entrance. Guests will have their own space but we are on hand to assist if needed set on a Ridge the property has lovely rural views, we are very close to the quaint villages of Nairne and Woodside, which both have brand new excellent Foodlands and bottle shops. Other amenities nearby include: post office, fuel station, doctor, chemist. Local wineries are a short drive, as is Hahndorf. the Property Manager lives in the house as well, along with a dog and two cats.
