Ipstones is a beautiful rural village nestled in the Staffordshire Moorlands and dates back to around the 12 century, it is built of local sand stone. It is situated just north of the Churnet Valley and a few miles south of the National Park "The Peak District", Alton Towers, Dovedale and Waterhouses. There are numerous footpaths around the village with the end of the Manifold Track and Coombs Valley nature reserve in easy reach. The village boasts three pubs, a butchers shop, a well stocked convenience store with post office and countrystore. Here at Intake Farm we have plenty of parking. The village, pubs and shops are any easy, quiet level walk or cycle of a mile.
