Countryside Farm House offers Something Better

This newly-renovated 1932 home overlooks our family's farmland. The home is bright and open, with a peaceful feel. It is the perfect place to relax and enjoy a country setting with views of farmland, calves grazing the winter wheat field. Late spring and early summer you will see combines rolling thru as they harvest the wheat crop or in the fall the milo crop. Enjoy a walk through the pecan grove on the property as the birds sing you a song. Come to unwind, cook, and enjoy the countryside. Please note this house is located in the country, so you will NOT find a store on the next block. Please know this before booking: The upstairs does get warmer than the rest of the house. There is an air conditioner vent and return up there, but heat does rise up to that room so the temperature is always warmer up there than downstairs. We also have two oscillating fans for each twin bed. Guest will have access to the entire house. There is a door to the attic upstairs in the bedroom. This door is kept locked at all times for safety. If you need something, just message me. Normally I am around and will be able to help. However, we do live on a working farm. The house is easy to find off of Interstate 35, only 6 miles /8 minutes from Valley View. Valley View has several unique restaurants to enjoy around the square. There is also a Dollar General store for some of your basic needs. From Era off of Hwy 51, the house is located 3 miles / 5 minutes. Era has a small gas station store with Subway, Pizza, and more. Gainesville is located 15 miles /20 minutes from the house. Sports fans enjoy the various events starting at the local varsity level all the way up to University North Texas in Denton (just 25 miles away) whether it is baseball, football, or track. For the athlete in you, plan to participate in a local 5K, 10K, triathlon, bike rally or enjoy a fishing tournament /boating at the area lakes with Lake Ray Roberts State Park (Johnson Branch) less than 20 miles away. The house is located out in the country with farmland around. Please note you will have to drive to get to a convenience or grocery store! There is no public transportation close. Since the house is older, the staircase is more narrow than normal that goes to the twin beds. This also means the ceiling is a little lower in this area, so please watch your head, especially for those tall people. Please take this into consideration.
