The Cwmbach train station is a 9 minute walk from cottage, Train to Cardiff takes 50 mins. Bus stop is an 8 min walk, Aberdare town is 2 miles away. Local attractions nearby include the newly opened Tower Zip World, Bike park Wales, Dare Valley County Park and Penderyn Whisky Distillery. Ideal location for mountain bikers, walkers, cyclists and tourists, with excellent road links to Cardiff, Swansea, Mumbles, Gower, Mid-Wales, Brecon, The Wye Valley, and Caerphilly. Whilst this is an urban setting the surrounding area is stunning and fully accessible. There are pubs, shops and take-aways all within walking distance and Aberdare town centre is 1 mile away. There are several miles of circular walks on the doorstep and Gravity Family Mountain Bike Park, is just a mile or so gentle ride away, in The Dare Valley Country Park.
