“Sound of the Sea” a charming cottage by the ocean

Literally a 250m walk to the beach, this unique seaside cottage is the perfect home away from home for families, small groups and couples. When you arrive and open the door you will feel the charm of this unique home with the high ceilings and light filled open spaces. Kick back and relax listening to the sound of ocean of a night. Let the kids loose on the beach while the adults enjoy the peace and quite. Come and sample the good life at Congo, you will definitely be coming back! Open plan living with high cathedral style cabin ceiling with loft. Two decks at the side and rear of the house. Ping pong table in the garage so you can battle it out after a days surfing or hiking up or down the lovely coast. There are two bedrooms with a double bed in each, at this time you be required to bring your own linen and towels. A Weber BBQ on the deck for the perfect steak or your freshly caught fish. There is a gas stovetop inside, but NO oven. There is a convection oven/microwave. Large open yard that is unfenced, plenty of trees and wildlife. Don’t be surprised to see kangaroos or bandicoots of a morning on the lawn. Park anywhere on the property but be mindful to not tear up the grass if possible. There are a small set of steps at all doorways to this house I will be available to assist with settling in, I do work away at times but I can always talk on the phone or send someone to help Congo is a quite peaceful seaside village. Home to a great surfing beach, great fishing in either the ocean or the Congo river just down the road. Access the dreaming hike heading south towards Tuross winding though plenty of wilderness just 500m away. Or enjoy the bustling village markets in the nearby village Moruya on a Saturday. -Bring your own linen (towels, sheets, face washers) -Access to Congo village at this time is via bingie road.
