Spacious bedroom with own living room -Dunfermline
You would be warmly welcomed into my home, which combines the feel of the country with the benefits of urban living. Within a 15 minute walk you can explore the heritage quarter, wander through Pittencrieff Park, jump on a train or a bus to Edinburgh or enjoy the local bars and restaurants. Relax in your spacious room with garden views or chill in your own cosy living room with Smart TV. Cook your meal in the well equipped modern kitchen or spend time outside in the garden. The property is detached. Your bedroom is downstairs overlooking the large private back garden. All living areas are upstairs where you can also sit on the balcony and watch the sunset. Rooms are spacious, recently decorated with a modern feel. There are tea and coffee making facilities in the room for your convenience. Uniquely you will have your own living room upstairs so you don't have to sit in your room all the time, with Roku TV and sofa. If you need a desk to work just ask and your living room can double up as a private workspace. There is a large fully equipped kitchen dining room which you can also use. I just ask you to clean up afterwards as I would share this area with you. The bathroom is a couple of steps away from your bedroom. Free parking in private drive. Public transport links all close by and within walking distance. I am a very friendly sociable person, but recognise that some guests may wish to have their own space. The house is begin enough to allow this, with guests having their own living room. I am happy to help in any way I can to make it a pleasurable stay. Happy to answer any questions and to provide information on the local area and things to do. Please let me know if you have any special requests, which I will try to accommodate. Centrally situated in a safe, quiet cul-de-sac but still close to the town centre and walkable distance to the train station and bus stops. There is safe secure parking in the drive if you bring your car. Residential area with similar sized properties. If you are interested in cricket or rugby the local ground within a few minutes walk. You can walk through Pittencrieff Park (see if you can spot a peacock) to visit Dunfermline heritage centre which is only a 15 minute walk, with the historic abbey with the tomb of Robert the Bruce, Dunfermline Palace, Abbot House and Andrew Carnegie birthplace. Wander around the first Andrew Carnegie library and museum. It is an excellent base for exploring Scotland, with many places to visit in the surrounding area via public transport or car. Limekilns - with its beautiful beach - is around 3 miles down the road, you can either walk or there is nearby bus stop that can take you there. You could also walk the Fife coastal path or visit the historic towns of St Andrews (37 miles) and Falkland (25 miles). Visit the beautiful city of Edinburgh, which is a half hour train journey (0.6 miles to train station) or hop on a bus which is a 12 minute walk. I would like to make your stay as enjoyable as possible so please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions. I am happy to offer long stays for individuals and a special rate for this has already been added to the pricing system. I would also welcome those who want to book from Monday to Friday long term.
