Lovely cottage at edge of a small hamlet in the Périgord Limousin Natural Park, perfect for walking/cycling and for visiting the area. There is a fenced garden at the front of the property and a courtyard at the rear. (garden furniture and barbecue) Bicycle friendly always clean and fresh double bed 140 good quality sofa bed (1 person) in a private but small room. Ideal for short stays. well equipped kitchen bathroom with shower Wi fi the courtyard, the front garden (separately fenced) and all of the cottage I aim to be as unobtrusive as possible, but available should you have any questions, problems, translation needs or local knowledge. a tranquil corner of the Dordogne, perfect for people who want to explore whether on foot or by bike. There are tracks at the bottom of our garden, which link up with small roads and other tracks which can take you too anywhere in the area. We have over 10 local IGN maps and maps showing the local walking/cycling circuits in each commune, which take in all the local points of interest, be it chateaus, ruins, cluzeau (prehistoric man made cave dwellings) lavoirs (covered washing ponds), churches and crypts (often open) geological points of interest and so much more. Through woodland interspersed with fields of pasture, alongside fields of sunflowers from one tiny hamlet to another, each with its unique history and beauty. Ideal for visiting the many tourist, cultural and historical sites in the area. Perfect area for lovers of nature, geology and archaeology Wonderful night skies Great for bird watching. there are two mountain bikes available and maps of the areas are also provided. There is secured locked parking for bikes (a locked barn, next to the cottage). There are cycle repair kits provided. There is honey produced by our own bees We are cycle friendly, offering secure bike parking, bike hire and local knowledge about the area and its fantastic cycling opportunities
