Hicks' Hut in its own private wildflower meadow!

A beautiful and secluded shepherd's hut situated in a lovely wild flower meadow and sited below our 350 million year old cave! The shepherd's hut has a lovely wood burner for cosy warmth and is a great way to have a romantic fire lit evening! The hut has its own en-suite shower and loo. During spring and summer the beautiful blooms of wildflowers attract lots colourful butterflies and pollinating insects. The hum of the wild life and the gentle trickle of the stream creates a relaxing stay. Tucked away in the corner of our small holding, Hicks hut has everything you need to escape the hustle and bustle of modern life. A comfy bed with crisp linen, fluffy towels and a well equipped outdoor kitchen provide everything that you really need to decompress. You will need to bring a car to get around but why not bring your bike to explore the miles of paths that crisscross the beautiful Clwydian Range? We can securely store it for you here too. Whilst you have fun reading other guests comments in the guest book, you’ll see we have written all the contact numbers for you at the back if you need anything during your stay with us The village of Tremeirchion nestles in the Clwydian Range perched high up on mountains that not only face the stunning Snowdonia mountains but also long stretches of the glittering welsh coastline. Explore our beautiful ancient church, take a picnic on the very top of the Graig nature reserve or attempt a stretch of the world famous Offa’s Dyke trail - all within a short walk from your hut! Parking on site is secure and you will need your car to explore the nearby towns - which we fully recommend to get the most out of your stay.
