Keyed safety box. Close to private and Canb Public Hospitals. A few mins walk to the express bus to City and amazing Canberra Museums etc, close to 50m pool, squash courts & ice skating rink. Woden Plaza is 15 mins walk with street restaurants, supermarkets & Hoyts cinemas. Baby portacot. Deloraine St is quiet and safe, opposite a reserve with walking and bike tracks. The kitchen has a rice cooker, bread maker and food processor. There's electric heating and a dyson fan because you never know the weather in Canberra! All doors and windows are double glazed. A work table and desk lamp are in this versatile space. Down 4 steps to a courtyard. A keyed lock with easy access. Please make yourselves at home. There are up to date tourist fliers and information on the bookshelf. I live upstairs and am available for information. Lyons is a few minutes drive to the main Canberra hospital and John James hospital. Deakin a few minutes away is the hub for specialist treatment in Canberra. Woden Plaza is an attractive shopping mall with 2 hour free parking. Coles and Woolworths are there. Aldi is in Cooleman Court Weston Creek (5mins drive) A good Italian restaurant is 5 mins walk, next to the squash courts. There are Indian, Asian, Japanese, German, Chinese dumpling restaurants as well as street food and cafes. Many have free delivery. Lyons shops, a few minutes walk has a small supermarket and a very popular cafe, Stand By Me. At Curtin shops, there is a good pizzeria milkbar, the Hungry Buddha (Nepalese) and the Q Bookshop. The Q is a wonderful maze of second hand books and memorabilia. It has a cafe and monthly free music evenings. A Bite to Eat, at Chifley shops also has live music most weeks, cafe, lunch and dinner and is also popular. Clubs; less than 10 minutes walk to the Tradies and the upmarket Helenic Club. Gyms are surrounding you; Recommended are the Southern Cross Club gym, and Elite Physique in Phillip. Information on all kinds of activities and events is in the bookshelf. Organic fruit, vegies and consumables are at Curtin shops. Post Offices are at Curtin, Hughes and Woden. The airport is 20 mins away, the train station for Sydney is 15 mins away. The Bus Station (the Jolimont Centre) in Civic is 10 mins away. There is parking for 1 car on the property. The official bike path routes to all over Canberra start at the bottom of the road. The bus stop (with free undercover lockup for bikes) is 4 mins walk away. Buses come every few minutes in peak, every 7 mins in non peak and every 15 min on the weekend and public holidays. Possums will occasionally jump on the roof at night!
