Cabin Over your Boat

This cabin over the water is the perfect spot for avid fishermen, small families, or a romantic getaway. The house sits literally on top of the dock! There is a large deck great for sunning, dining, or just taking in the amazing view. There is a picnic table on the deck as well as lots of chairs, sunbathing lounges, and foldable chairs inside the storage room inside. On the smaller deck dedicated to cooking, you will find a propane grill for cooking your day's catch. Inside the 500 sq ft cottage, there is a living room area with 32 inch flat screeen HDTV with apx 15 channels. You can raise the Queen Murphy pull down bed if you would like more floor space during the day and lower it for a comfortable nights sleep. If you are bringing kids or a second couple, there is a Queen pull out sofa for additional sleeping space. The kitchen is small, but adequate. There is a hotplate, fridge, microwave and sink. 2 coffee pots,a standard one as well as a Keurig. No stove/oven or dishwasher because let's be honest, with this view and setting, you are going to want to cook most of your meals out on the grill! The bathroom has a full size shower (no tub). Just a short walk downstairs and you are on the dock where you can tie up 2 boats, slip will hold a 7ft wide boat and 22ft long under the covered area and one to the open part of the dock. Cleats have been mounted here for you to tie up, will hold upto a 40 ft boat. You are less than 2 minutes by boat to Bridgewater Plaza where you will find entertainment for kids and adults alike. New for 2017 46 lb per day ice maker at the dock. Home managed by CB Sales and Rentals, Inc. | You must bring your own fitted and flat sheets, towels, and toiletry items. Linen rentals are available third party if you prefer to pack light. Comforters, quilts, pillows and matress protectors are provided. Occupancy is set by the counties and state of VA; we do not have the ability to override it or make exceptions.
