Firefly Landing is a bright and airy, completely renovated beach house located in Ocean Beach, Fire Island. With 4 BRs, there is room for the entire family to come and have a most memorable vacation. It’s perfectly situated one block from the pristine barrier beaches and one block from “downtown.” No need to schlep along everything you own; the house comes loaded with adult and children’s bicycles, beach chairs, umbrellas, a wagon, fully stocked kitchen, Weber grill, two outdoor lounge areas, outdoor dining area and of course linens, towels, and basic supplies. The brand new Trex spacious back deck has created a private backyard oasis which is perfect for enjoying your morning coffee, a midday break from the beach or an evening BBQ with some cocktails and a game of cornhole. After a sun-filled day at the beach you can relax with a dip in the hot tub followed by a refreshing outdoor shower before you hit the town. The living room is comfortable and inviting with a large smart TV that offers Amazon Prime TV, Netflix, Disney+, and DirectTV Streaming for network and cable channels (high speed WiFi). While you settle in to watch a movie, the kids can watch their own shows in the front room, which has a separate TV with all the same streaming services. Firefly Landing is located right in the middle of everywhere you’ll want to be. Being just steps to the beach and town make it the perfect location. The downtown area offers, restaurants, markets, a bakery, ice cream and sweet shops, a playground, boutiques, variety and souvenir stores, pizza parlors, and plenty of nightlife. Great day trips can be taken from our town either by hoping on the water taxi to head to a destination or walking through the various towns – both are very enjoyable options. You can hike to the Fire Island Lighthouse for the day or go in the opposite direction to visit the Sunken Forest. One of the best things about Fire Island is that there are no cars! Kids can ride their bikes or walk around without the fear of car traffic nagging at you.
