While visiting beautiful Hatteras Island think about all the activities you can choose to do from centrally located Avon; fishing, surfing, wind surfing, kite surfing, kayaking, paddle boarding, 4X4 beach driving on The Point, Cape Hatteras Lighthouse, searching for seashells, biking, sun bathing, or just doing nothing at all. Plan a day trip and take the free ferry to Ocrakoke. Or, drive north to Nags Head and go to the outlets or Jockey’s Ridge where the Wright Brothers first took flight. The opportunities are endless! We are located on the ocean side, 2 blocks north of the Avon Fishing Pier and a 90 second walk to the beach access boardwalk on a quiet street. Our home welcomes you with under the house parking, a basketball hoop, and an outdoor enclosed hot/cold shower. As you enter the house from the bottom level we have a spacious area with a washer and dryer for your laundry needs. The second level is the main entrance with a covered porch outside. If you enter from this door into the home we have a cute sitting area to read or relax. All 3 bedrooms are located on this level. The master bedroom has a queen bed, ceiling fan and full bath. The second bedroom has a queen bed with a ceiling fan and shares a bathroom with the 3rd bedroom that has a pyramid bunk and a pullout trundle. Upstairs, you enter into an open floor plan sharing living and dining space including a half bath. With vaulted ceilings, and a bright airy feel opening out to a wrap around deck with great views perfect for coffee in the morning and happy hour and sunsets in the evening. Enjoy a spacious, well stocked kitchen with a breakfast bar and a large dining table. Whether a meal is being prepared, you’re playing a game of cards on the table, or settling in for movie night on the comfy sectional couch, you can enjoy family time together in this inviting space. Our beaches are dog friendly and so is our home, so you can make your family vacation complete by bringing along your 4 legged family member. Shopping and dining are conveniently located very close by. - Pac-n-Play available for use, please bring your own sheet. - Must be age 25 or older to rent.
