The south Lake District is only a 20 minute drive away and offers attractions such as the South Lakes Safari Zoo, Lakeside and Haverthwaite Railway, Lakes Aquarium, Lakeland Motor Museum and Holker Hall Gardens- this is all before you reach Windermere Lake! 25 minutes south on the M6 and you are in the Historic City of Lancaster or by the seaside town of Morecambe.
