The Fenton is in the "new" portion of the Holladay House, built around 1910. The Fenton features an ensuite bathroom and a large window overlooking the back garden. With its location in downtown Orange, wineries, historic homes, battlefield parks, Charlottesville, and much more are all short drives away. There are four guest rooms on the second floor, common-use parlor, study, and dining room on the first floor (as well as the hosts' quarters), and two guest rooms on the basement/parking lot entrance level. Members of different First Families of Virginia have lived in or visited the Holladay House during its ~200-year existence, including Madisons, Pages, and Taliafferos. JEB Stuart attended a wedding reception here when Lee's army spent the winter in Orange after the defeat at Gettysburg.
