Summary: Welcome to this wonderful family getaway. Located on a divine horse estate with magnificent views over the horse meadows and surrounded by greens. Enjoy long walks in Flanders fields and cosy dinners with the entire family in this comfortable and newly built holiday home. The Space: There are 3 bedrooms in total. The first bedroom has a king-size bed and a lovely view over the fields. The second bedroom has one king-size bed and two single beds as a loft bed. The third bedroom is located on the mezzanine and can be accessed with a ladder. There are two single beds. We provide high quality bed linen so you can sleep as an angel. The fully equipped kitchen overlooking the horse meadows is ideal to prepare a heavenly dinner for the entire family. Enjoy it in the spacious living / dining room or outside on the terrace. There are two comfortable bathrooms with walk-in shower and we provide a set of towels and luxurious Rituals amenities. Surrounded by greens and meadows, you have the most wonderful view from the living room, kitchen and terrace. Each logies has its own garden, and there is also a common meadow for the kids to play in. We look forward to welcoming you and feel free to contact us for any further information! Guest Access: You have private access to the entire logies with garden and terrace. The logies is located on a private horse estate and there are two more logies next to yours. Each logies has its own garden and there is also a common meadow for the kids to play in. We kindly ask you to respect the peaceful and quiet location. We do not provide personal check-in, but you will be able to collect the keys from a keybox. Check-in instructions are provided 2 days prior to arrival. The Neighborhood: The property is located in the beautiful rural village of Houtem, a borough of the city of Veurne. It is listed as one of the 50 most beautiful villages in Flanders and it only takes a 5-minute drive to the french border (village "Hondschoote"). If you come to stay in the Westhoek, you are guaranteed to feel like royalty. You enjoy expansive views, you have more breathing room than ever. You can explore the greenery or cycle in the wake of World War I. Here you can enjoy: whether it is the regional delicacies, the "local color", or the peace and quiet. The cycling network takes you to unknown corners and hikers are also spoiled for choice with no fewer than four walking networks. Towers adorn the skyline of the Westhoek towns, but they also rise from their ashes in the varied landscape with charming villages. Each time with beautiful panoramas as a reward. And for an awesome day with the kids, theme park "Plopsaland De Panne" is only a 15-minute drive! Getting Around: ***PRIVATE PARKING*** There is private parking on the driveway of the property. You can also park your car for free in the surrounding streets. ***BIKE PARKING*** There is a place to store your bikes safely on the property. Other Things to Note: *** EXTRA INFORMATION *** - We provide prepared beds with the high-quality bed linen. One pair of bed linens per guest, per stay. More bed linen can be ordered during your stay at a surcharge. Baby bed linen is not included. - We provide soft and thick bath towels. One big and one small towel per guest, per stay. More bath towels can be ordered during your stay at a surcharge. - We provide a Nespresso machine and 2 free capsules per guest, per stay. - We provide Rituals, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, shower gel, hand-soap good for 3 days. - We provide a few starting amenities enough for at least 3 days: sugar, olive oil, pepper & salt, handwash, detergent, kitchen-towel, kitchen-cloth and a kitchen sponge, kitchen paper and trash bin with bags. We also provide dishwasher tablets if a dishwasher is available. *** HOUSE RULES *** - We do not allow smoking. - We do not allow parties. - We allow pets: an extra charge of 50 euros will be charged for hygiene reasons. This is only upon request and after confirmation. - We do not allow guests under 26 years. We can make an exception upon request. - We ask all our guests to respect the low noise hours between 22:00 - 08:00. - We ask all our guests to use everything with respect as if it were their own. In case of damage, the paid deposit will be kept for the respective amount. A secure link will be sent to you via Swikly for which you need a credit card. - Please do not feed the horses The charged fees for things like accommodation and cleaning are split in 90% for real estate rental and 10% for rental of furniture.
