About this space Located in a superb central position, next to Exeter's Quayside, this apartment provides everything you will need for a comfortable stay in the City. The property has two bedrooms and can accommodate up to five guests. There is a spacious living room, kitchen with separate dining area, and bathroom. The flat is fully equipped with wifi, washing facilities and kitchen equipment. There is also parking available. All of the bars, restaurants and shops at the Quay are only a short walk away The space The apartment is quite spacious with large living room, kitchen with separate dining area and two good size bedrooms. The master bedroom has a double bed and the second bedroom has two singles. There is one bathroom which has a shower above the bath. There is also a utility area for drying clothes etc. Adjacent to the property is the Quayside, with a large green which is lovely for sitting out on/picnics in the summer. Guest access Exeter Quay is very close by (1 minute walk) and the city centre is only 5-10 minutes waling. You are only a 5-minute walk from Exeter St Thomas train station, and 20 minutes from St David's. There is residents parking although spaces may not always be available. Other things to note The sofa bed in the living room can accommodate an additional adult, or two children. Please note, linen is not supplied for the sofa bed, so you will need to bring your own if you wish to use it. Supermarkets Local general store on the way to the Quay Co-op over the river across the bridge Large department stores M&S food hall, Boots pharmacy, Tk max, Next, Poundland across the bridge All within a 5 minutes walk Local Restaurants The Bishop Blaze/bar music venue. Porto Lounge/bar/restaurant pub grub with seating area overlooking the river. The Samuel Jones/upmarket bar, restaurant serving good quality craft beer and food, outside area overlooking the river well recommend. The Prospect Inn/bar/restaurant serving pub grub, fantastic outdoor area next to the river, Mark's special board is worth looking out for. Next along the Quay, Mango's café bar veiw s of the river On The Waterfront bar/pizza restaurant large covered area, excellent venue. Over the Cricklepit bridge (large blue one, can't miss it) there is Bar Venazia Italian restaurant, large mostly covered outdoor area, resent improvements have made it a very nice Venue. Next door to Bar V is the latest restaurant on the Quay, The Rockfish serving locally caught fresh the same day seafood, very nice indeed Local Attractions The historic city of Exeter is but a stone's throw from the Quay, Exeter Cathedral is well worth a visit, also Exeter catacombs is a must. If you're a bit of a history buff then the Exeter redcoat tourist guides are a good choice with the walk taking about 1 hour. Walking, cycling, kayaking are all easy as the Quay and surrounding areas are on the flat. Trains Nearest train station is located at St Thomas a 5 minutes walk from the apartment. Use Google maps to get you there Buses The nearest bus stop is right outside of the apartment complex the G bus will take you into the city and on to the main, brand new leasure center and bus station. The G bus runs every half hour and is extended during summer time. Key Selling Points 21A is a large modern 2 bedroomed apartment, one has 2 single beds and has a laptop table with ethernet port, one has a double bed both are of a good size with plenty of wardrobe space, a well equipped kitchen/dining room, a spacious lounge (with a sofa bed) and a wall mounted smart TV, the internet is provided by Virgin with speeds of 100+ Mbs so no problems with a signal, a compact bathroom with a bath with shower over, the toilet is separate and gives a degree of flexibility, there is also a drying room with ironing board and iron. The apartment is situated on Exeter's historic Quay with all the amenities just a few seconds walk way these include, 8 pubs(one of which is a brewery)all the pubs serve food, a restaurant which specialises in seafood called THE ROCK and a plethora of good cafés all overlooking the river. There are a number of water sports activities provided as well as bike hire a peddle or paddle to the DOUBLE LOCKS is well worth it. For the more adventurous outdoor rock climbing is available (the tower is quite tall). If traveling about is more your style we are on a bus route into the very historic city with all the high street stores one could wish for, although we are only a 5 minutes walk away, St Thomas train station is just across the river and will take you as far as Plymouth which is a nice scenic route.
