Step into Gnaw Bone Lodge this idyllic 3 bedroom was recently redesigned to provide the perfect blend of a log cabin with a slight mid-century modern twist. There are plenty of amenities to make your trip unforgettable – game room, covered front & back porch for morning coffee, and an outdoor fire pit & picnic tables. Not only is this space breathtaking, but its location is unbeatable! 3 min - BC State Park 8 min - DT Nashville 20 min - Yellowwood State Forest 25-30 min - Bloomington The space Unlike much of Indiana, the terrain of Brown County is characterized by rugged and rolling hills. This is where Gnaw Bone Lodge calls home. Located right off the State Road 46 Highway, you’ll have plenty of space for outdoor activities and parking. The optimal amount of guests would be 6 people but I can definitely fit 8 if two are willing to sleep on couches. 🔥 BACKYARD: There’s a fire pit and picnic tables that’s perfect for an evening of star gazing, dining, and entertainment. Enjoy a morning coffee on the back porch while soaking in the picturesque landscape. Fire pit allows for outdoor open flame cooking and firewood is supplied for all my guests. 🛏️ SLEEPING ARRANGEMENT: Bedroom 1 (master): Queen size bed Bedroom 2: Queen size bed Bedroom 3: Full size bed Couch Sleepers: Two “Article” leather couches each measures 83.5” L x 35” W. All bedding and pillows will be provided. These are not pull out sofa beds. 📺 ENTERTAINMENT The minute you walk in, you can’t miss from the corner of your eye the lit up “Game On” sign that hangs above the arcade machine which holds up to 12 games from the 80s/90s. If arcade games aren’t your specialty – no problem, I have a foosball table, checkers table, and various board games. The back porch also features a cornhole set. The living room Smart TV is equipped with Roku. Simply turn on the TV and set your check-out date. Feel free to log into your streaming services without any hassle. On your check out date, the TV will reset and log out of all streaming services. 🍴COMMON AREA: The common area features a fireplace for those chilly nights. Looking to work from home? I have an office desk, large dining table and WiFi. 🚽 BATHROOM: Complimentary bathroom essentials provided, including soap, lotion, shampoo/conditioner/body wash from “Public Goods” and towels. 🍽️ KITCHEN: The kitchen comes fully equipped with all the basic necessities to prepare your meals. Coffee & tea provided. Please refer to the digital guidebook for more information about the kitchen. Guest access ✨ You will have private use to the entire cabin and all its amenities during your stay ❤️ Other things to note ***PLEASE READ*** In an effort to maintain a secure premises, the lodge is equipped with 2 cameras. The cameras are ONLY on the exterior, and there are no cameras on the inside. Cellular signal may not always be reliable around Brown County. Verizon will provide the best signal. I highly recommend downloading offline maps on your phone as you explore places including Brown County State Park. WINTER DRIVING Snow tire chains and/or 4-wheel drive vehicles are highly encouraged during winter months in the event of inclement weather. I recommend the purchase of Travel Insurance for all planned vacations. Travel Insurance will protect your Investment in the event of a weather event that would make roads impassable to vehicles with 4WD and/or chains.
