This is a room in a private home. We like our guests to feel like they are in a home away from home. A refrigerator and microwave is in the room for the moments you just want to relax alone. Continental breakfast is offered. The area has lovely trails for walking, biking. Car rental available onsite with advance reservation. Please inquire when you book your stay for availability. We have a small onsite hairstylist for those persons who may be here for a wedding or graduation and need a quick trim up. Please inquire when booking. Need hair and makeup? We have that! Guided tours are coming soon! Guests are welcome to sit outside at the patio table and enjoy the solitude (seasonal). The room and bathroom are of course accessible to guests and your hosts are happy to provide assistance if you need help locating anything. This is History Central: We are located in the heart of American History, from the Underground Railroad to the Liberty Bell. Gettysburg is within an hours drive. Valley Forge where Washington's troops were encamped is within 15 minutes drive. Go see Washington's cabin where it still stands to this day. Longwood Gardens is a local Botanical wonder and is a great way to spend an afternoon. Malvern boasts it's own station so you can easily go into Philadelphia for the day to see the sites by train. Climb to the top of the infamous Art Museum steps where "Rocky Balboa" ended his training and danced to the tune of Eye of the Tiger!!. You won't be able to help yourself! Go ahead! Do it! We all do!. Obama's Rails to Trails program enabled the development of local walking trails including the beautiful and extensive Chester Valley Trail which is marked where Washington's troops marched.. You can feel the presence of the spirit of America being born. We are within a 2 hour drive of the beautiful Atlantic Ocean in New Jersey, Delaware. Take the car for the day and go see the coastline. New York City is 2 hours north. The Pocono mountains are a great ski area here and you can be there within 1.5 hours. We have indoor rock climbing, fruit orchards for strawberries in summer; apples in Autumn and Vineyards where you can go on a wine tasting. Look for our hosted tours coming soon. In the meantime, just ask for assistance. Chester County is home to gorgeous horse farms and beautiful countryside. Book our car and take a drive through our area. I can't tell you who or where, but you just might run into a Hollywood celebrity now and then. Keep your eyes open and your camera ready. If you want to get to the train, I have a rental car available for you at a competitive rate. The bus route to the train is just outside the door. The train runs East and West into the City of Philadelphia, all the way to the airport. And I can pick you up at the Train if you like. Or you can catch the 52 Bus on Septa. Of course there are always apps you can get a ride with. We have a house dog. He's a mix of German Sheppard and Boxer. He's friendly but will want to be acknowledged as dogs do. If you have animal allergies, we are probably not the best choice for you. Please accept our apologies. Of course, you are always welcome!
