Farthingales is a Grade II listed homestead, based around a 15th-century hall house set in the heart of the Kent countryside. It sits adjacent to the historic village church and on the edge of rolling fields. Local attractions include the famous city of Canterbury, with its beautiful cathedral, dominant city walls and an array of boutique shops, bars and restaurants. Enjoy a day trip to France by ferry from Dover to Calais, or by train from Ashford via the Channel Tunnel. Nearby coastal towns in Kent include Broadstairs, famous for its annual folk festival, and Whitstable, a charming fishing town with local shops, oyster festivals and pubs right on the beach. London is easily accessible with several high speed train routes from Kent; in under an hour you can enjoy all that the capital has to offer. Shops 1½ miles, pub and ?restaurant 2 miles.
