East Ballabane is a traditional Manx farmhouse in a wonderful position overlooking the coast and farmland in the north of the Isle of Man, as well as the Ayres Nature Reserve. The area surrounding Ballabane is excellent for walking, cycling, and bird-watching. A site of major ecological significance, parts of the Ayres have been designated as an Area of Special Scientific Interest and as a National Nature Reserve. The spacious house is beautifully furnished and has wooden floors and original feature fireplaces. There is a large sunny conservatory, and the farmhouse has an Aga type cooker. The large utility room houses the fridge-freezer, washer-drier and dishwasher. There are three attractive bedrooms one double, one twin and one single, a spacious bathroom with a roll-top bath plus a separate shower room with WC. The whole property is furnished with carefully selected pieces, mainly old pine and antiques. It is truly a home from home. The farmhouse is set in an enclosed courtyard, which is a real suntrap. It also provides plenty of space for parking. There is a garden in front of the property with a picnic bench and bbq area. You can also enjoy shared use of the large tree lined lawn that is ideal for games and more picnics! There are wonderful beaches 5 minutes away in either direction, and there is also a golf course only 5 minutes away. East Ballabane is the perfect spot for walking, bird-watching, cycling, painting, golfing, and for a peaceful family holiday.
