The Dairy (6) at West Heath Barn is a simply stunning conversion of a traditional Norfolk barn dating back to the 1850s. Positioned right on the Peddars Way, a famous Roman Road that goes right down to the North Norfolk coast, the barn is a perfect place if you are seeking a tranquil holiday retreat. (Available from 2021) . The conversion is of the highest quality and furnished to a very high standard. Walk into Great Massingham (approx three quarters of a mile) and you will find one of Norfolk’s prettiest villages with two large central ponds and a popular gastro pub, The Dabbling Duck. Dogs are very welcome at The Dairy and guests have access to the fully enclosed paddock for exercising their pets. Walking from the barn is peaceful and traffic free. West Heath Barn is set in its own grounds of 4.5 acres, complete with resident Alpacas! Sleeping 6 in 3 bedrooms, all with en-suite bathrooms, The Dairy (6) is the ideal holiday hideaway for up to three couples, a party of friends as well as families. If you are part of a larger group, you could also book The Cart Lodge, just across the courtyard from The Dairy (6) which accommodates four guests to six guests, making it perfect for multiple families and multi-generational holidays to enjoy a break away together. All Ground Floor Accommodation: Kitchen Wonderfully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, double oven, hob and fridge. Very spacious with pamment tiled flooring. Dining table and chairs. Door to courtyard garden. Adjacent laundry with washing machine, tumble dryer and ironing facilities. Sitting room Lovely large room with vaulted ceiling and original exposed ‘A’ frames. Pamment tiled flooring. Comfortable sofas and a wood burning stove for cosy nights. Television with DVD player and a selection of books and games. Master bedroom A beautiful suite accessed via two internal doors, with king-size bed (twin option available - please state preference on booking), television, dressing table, two chairs, tea and coffee making facilities. (Please note that dogs are not permitted in this bedroom). Exposed brick walls and door to the courtyard garden with seating area. En-suite shower room With large walk-in shower, wash basin, heated towel rail and WC. Bedroom two Large room with Norfolk made king-size wrought iron bed, dressing table and vaulted ceiling. En-suite bathroom With bath and shower over, WC and wash basin. Bedroom three Pretty twin room with two white wrought iron single beds and a vaulted ceiling. En-suite shower room With shower, wash basin and WC. Outside: The Dairy is situated in a rural setting about three quarters of a mile outside the picturesque village of Great Massingham. There is ample parking outside and a lawned courtyard area for guests use. There is also a large fully fenced paddock area that guests can exercise their dogs in. Walking from the barn is peaceful and traffic free, right onto Peddars Way. There is a barbecue for guests to use and some garden furniture. Additional Information: Two well behaved dogs are welcome (small additional charge).
