Emerald Eyes Cliffside Tiny House on 30 acres with River & Countryside Vistas
Emerald Eyes at Futurology Farms is for the passionate person who wants to connect with nature, the adventurer who loves to explore the beauty of the land, couples who wish to reconnect, and those looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of life. Despite the 30-acre farm being in its early stages of development, it is a serene and magical place perched atop a mountain on a cliffside overlooking the Cumberland River in Tennessee. The farm provides an ever-changing view- including glorious hillside meadows, mysterious dense forests, and mystical thick fogs. It’s not uncommon to see deep rich fog engulf the valley or glistening mountain tops sparkle in the sunlight. The firepit is for your use and firewood for several fires will be provided along with our signature fire starters to ensure a great start and fire every time! The list of things to do while visiting the farm is long. Ranging from water sports to nature activities, state park hopping to exploring music city. Whether you want to visit Nashville, shop antiques, ride a boat, go trail riding, stargaze, explore museums, dine out, visit parks or historical sites, Emerald Eyes is situated perfectly to appease anyone’s passion. Nature has much to offer during your stay whether hiking and traversing the grounds or exploring the beauty of the river with water activities and fishing. You’ll find a wide selection of state parks with hiking and waterfalls to investigate. The property is on a mountain and has areas that are nearly 1000 feet in elevation with rugged terrain and steep drop-offs. For this reason, we do not feel the property is suited for infants and children. Additionally, nature is active at the farm with snakes, turkeys, raccoons, bobcats, bears, coyotes, and other local wildlife. This is a natural environment and that comes with things like ticks, mosquitoes, spiders, and stink bugs. We take every precaution possible and provide bug spray for the outdoors but you should be aware and dress appropriately. This property has steep but passable roadways. Most vehicles can navigate fine. A small 4-cylinder vehicle may struggle in wet weather or snow and ice conditions. Generally, they are fine. Despite being the lesser-known travel destination, the Farm is nestled in Jackson County, Tennessee which offers some of the most beautiful countrysides in the region. The property straddles Gainesboro, Tennessee, the county seat which is rich with history and home to multi-award-winning country music singer, Jamie Dailey of the Dailey and Vincent band. This town also was the set for the 1970 “I Walk The Line” movie starring Gregory Peck featuring the famous Johnny Cash song.
