RaW Magical Cabin in the Woods

The Cabin at Rooted and Wild is a magical retreat in the woods of the Upper Hudson Valley. It is a restful getaway to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of the city, and reconnect with your self and nature. The space is stocked with everything you need to unwind, nourish, and recharge your body, mind and spirit. This cabin has all the amenities that you will need for your stay. We desire for you to have the best rest and refresh designed especially for you. We have one King sized bed in the bedroom, with two huge closets. There is a dynamite pull out sofa and as well as a crib and changing table, if needed. The book shelves are lined with dreamy novels, health and wellness reads, as well as an array of kids books too. In the kitchen/living room/office is a sweet quiet desk area, and a full kitchen and bar. There is a Ninja blender, a coffee maker, pots and pans, dishes, forks, spoons, herbs, spices, and anything you could possibly need for your stay. You don't have to bring anything, but yourself. The view from the house is impeccable, surrounded by glorious pines that you can even gaze at through the bathroom window. The cabin has radiant heat and split unit AC so it is great for any time of year. If you ever feel like leaving the glorious cabin, you have access to hiking and walking trails and a forest right outside your door. Right nearby is skiing, snowboarding, sledding, swimming, kayaking, biking, hiking, walking, shopping, farms to visit, Art galleries, museums, horse-back riding, golf, etc... You also have access to all of our RaW Magical Cabin packages described below. We live on the property in a house about 300 feet away. If it is preferred, we do not need to have any contact with our guests. However, we have packages available for our guests. Not only can we stock your refrigerator, for when you arrive with biodynamic locally sourced fruits, vegetables, and other assortments of healthy delicious goods. We can also cook you soulful, vibrant and incredibly tasty plant based meals. We are, and also work with an array of healing and wellness specialists in the area who can come directly to you to offer Reiki, Massage, Business/Life/Relationship Coaching, Meditation and Yoga. We have Sound Healers, Acupuncturists, Nutritionists, Alchemists and Shamans among others. We are well connected to spas in the area if you are interested in Saunas, and Colonics. Not only will you be experiencing a much needed digital detox, but at the same time you are communing with nature, and relaxing, you can be cleansing your insides. A true Mind, Body, and Spirit reset. It is also a perfect place for Creators of all kinds who need a space to retreat too, to write, or make music. If you are looking to get out and about, we are five minutes from the quaint town of Old Chatham, which has a country store and one restaurant. Only ten minutes away is the adorable Town of Chatham, which has several great restaurants, and cute shops. We are 35 minutes from the City of Hudson, the "hub of hip" in upstate NY, packed with live music, restaurants, ad events all year round. A drive to Albany, our state capital is only 40 minutes away, as well as the super happening city of Troy. We are 30 minutes from the gorgeous Berkshires, Great Barrington, and Kripalu (A center for yoga and health that includes a delicious restaurant, a store, and many classes and workshops with world renowned teachers.) As you can see, we are very centrally located! If you want to explore all the sites anywhere around here on your own, unless it's walking or hiking on our land, then you must either drive a car here, or rent a car when you arrive. If you only want to stay in the cabin and enjoy all that we have to offer there, contact us, and you can purchase a package where we pick you up from the train, or airport, and stock your refrigerator, or make you meals.
