Please note the following changes to policy in light of the outbreak: 1) I encourage guests to bring up THEIR OWN linens & towels, and if you do use house linens/towels to wash them in the laundry on hot and then run the dryer. 2) Guests should bring up groceries and supplies (e.g. firewood, charcoal, TP) with them instead of going into local stores upstate. 3) At least 24 hours will transpire between guests, so you will never arrive at the house after previous guests have just left. 4) The house will be cleaned and sanitized between guests as usual. Pool & hot tub will be shocked if you will be using it. 5) COVID-related cancellations will follow Airbnb's policy for qualified extenuating cancellations. Any reservations that do not qualify for Airbnb's special consideration will fall under the listing's default cancellation policy with Airbnb. Pets welcome ($35 pet fee for length of stay, per pet) ----------------------- A general idea of the layout of the house: Main level: 2 bedrooms, each with a queen sized bed. One bedroom has a private patio. Full bathroom on this floor. Also on the main level are the kitchen, dining area, living room w/fireplace and access to wraparound deck. Upstairs: Master bedroom suite, queen bed, private fireplace and bathroom w/shower. Private balcony. Finished Basement: full-sized bed plus two additional full mattresses (one a regular mattress, one a futon mattress). The basement also has a sofa and loveseat, as well as a finished bathroom. Games and big TV w/XBOX. Laundry room also in the basement. ----------------------- The house is close to area ski centers- it's 11 mi.(18 min) to Ski Windham, 17 mi.(28 min) to Hunter, 23 mi.(35 min) to Plattekill & 32 mi.(42 min) to Belleayre. Similar distances to Castkill Mtn. camping and hiking. Minutes to Schoharie Reservoir & Creek for great fishing and to Mine Kill State park where you can swim under a waterfall. Also close to the house is plenty of golf, hiking, campsites, & more. Close to Blenheim Falls Farm. A car is required. 4-wheel drive is highly recommended in the winter months. The pool and hot tub require additional fee to cover electricity, chemicals, and maintenance. -The hot tub is open all year round and comfortably seats 5 adults. -The in-ground swimming pool is open generally between Memorial Day and Labor Day. The pool is fenced in and private. It has a heat pump system to heat the pool. ($200 fee)
