Comfortable living space in historic Merion Village, with 800 sqft it's the perfect get away for two. Within walking distance to several bars and Schiller Park. A 10-12 minute drive to Downtown, Brewery District, Arena District, Short North, and The Ohio State University. - 19 minute drive to the main airport - 13 minute drive to the Convention Center Located just around the corner from the bus stop. There is a Kroger and a CVS available for groceries. This is an older home dating back to the 1920s. Ceilings are tall, rooms are quaint, stairs are steep. Please respect the dated property, and enjoy it's character. There is no garbage disposal in the kitchen sink, please dispose of food, grease, coffee grounds in trash. New HVAC has been installed, temperature should be acceptable as set. There is a fan/heater in the upstairs landing for possible use while in the bedroom, as temperatures vary in the home. Plumbing is fragile given the age of the home. Please do not flush anything other than toilette paper. Guests will have access to: Main Floor - living room, kitchen, bathroom. Second Floor - Master bedroom, office. Exterior - front patio and yard space. Parking is on street in front of premises. Please refrain from using the below areas (they will be locked): Basement Garage Please respect the entire duplex property, there are tenants living on the other half. Thank you! In the event I'm unable to meet directly with you to check you in, I will leave a combo lock box on the property, which I will communicate the code to you a day before check in. I will be available via text or phone for additional needs but will not being staying on site. This neighborhood is constantly growing and changing. Some houses are still awaiting to be improved. The neighborhood is best when traveling north towards downtown, and staying closer to High Street compared to Parsons Ave. It's close to the brewery district and downtown, but far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Close to two Kroger grocery stores, I suggest the Sycamore Rd location, Giant Eagle, CVS, and many restaurants and bars. Take a quick Uber drive to downtown for a safe and easy night out. Located about 4 miles south of the Greater Columbus Convention Center in downtown. Please be safe and remove all personal belongings from the car to prevent theft while staying in any city. Always be aware of your surroundings. Be sure to lock and close all doors and windows. There is free street parking, no parking permits required. Close to the bus line, utilize Uber or Lyft. When leaving the premises, please be sure to lockup all windows and doors. City living is very enjoyable if done safely! You can place your trash in the black trash can in the backyard for your convenience, as the large city dumpsters are located in the alleys. The blue bin behind the house is only for recycling. The black bag in the mud room is for small recyclables. There is a clothes basket in the master bedroom for dirty linens. WIFI information can be found in the home, on the dry erase board. Please note, my pricing is set for one person, and each additional person is $15 per night fee.
