Located close to the heart of Ramsey, the Isle of Man's northern town, North Haven offers a perfect base for a holiday or short break. Featuring three bedrooms that sleep 5 people, this property caters to groups of friends and families. There is plenty to do in Ramsey. For families, there are a range of attractions and facilities, such as the Northern Swimming Pool and the bowling alley which are short walks from North Haven. Mooragh Park is also just around the corner, popular with locals and visitors alike. The park has excellent leisure facilities and attractions, where visitors can find tennis courts, a bowling green, BMX track and a crazy golf course as well as a children’s playground and special water play area. Watersport activities are available on the lake in the summer too! To top it off, Mooragh Park is a registered Dark Skies Site, from which you may even be able to see the northern lights on the horizon when the conditions are just right! The Grove Museum provides an insight into the life of a Victorian family who built the house in the 20th Century. There are other Victorian attractions in Ramsey, such as the Queen's Pier and the Manx Electric Railway which runs from Ramsey to Douglas via Laxey. From Laxey, you can board the Mountain Railway which snakes up through the hills to Snaefell, the highest peak on the Isle of Man! There are plenty of walks in the north of the island. Experience miles of beaches from Ramsey right up to the tip of the island at The Point of Ayre and The Ayres National Nature Reserve. There is also some unexpected wildlife to explore in The Curraghs, where you can explore the wetlands and its' resident wallabies! North Haven is closely situated to both of Ramsey's supermarkets and the town centre is a short walk away, featuring restaurants, pubs, cafes and shops.
