This rustic apartment used to be the old hunting cabin from the early 1900's. Although it's attached to the house (separate entrance), and your space is 100% private for you only. Entry way Deadbolt is motorized and keyless, we provide you with a custom entry code to use during your stay. Well water is very tasty & safe for drinking, and the place has amazing water pressure. A harman p43 pellet stove will help keep you warm while providing that perfect ambiance It's unique location in the middle of the lake and extensive lake frontage makes this a unique waterfront getaway! The grounds are landscaped and there are a ton of nature opportunities locally including hiking, biking, fishing, apple and strawberry picking (in season) and fantastic bird watching. It's a Snowmobile, Ice Skating, Cross-Country Skiing and Ice Fishing haven in the winter, DIRECTLY ON THE TRAIL you can ride your snowmobile or hike to Canada from your doorstep! We're always adding more things for entertainment and have board games, cards, cribbage, Monopoly, Sorry, Puzzles, Color books and Jenga! For TV and Movies, we also have ROKU's enabled with Guest mode. Simply enter in your stream credentials and they are deleted when you checkout. You can now access your own NetFlix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, HBO Go and other networks you have on the Roku Eric is your personal concierge and will be able to quickly answer texts or calls if you have questions about the property, area or local food/activities. If you need something special, Eric may be able to provide/lend it to you, or at least help you know where to go to get it. Water, Dock, Multiple Firepits, Wood Fired Sauna, Weber Grills (Propane & charcoal), wireless Internet, Roke, water for swimming, boating. Small boats, kayaks and canoes are OK if you want to bring them or we have one canoe you can use. Winter is fantastic as well, especially with the Wood Fired Finnish Sauna! We are on the southern NH corridor trail (501N) that leads to Canada. Snowmobiling, Ice Skating, Hockey, Snowshoeing, Cross Country Skiing are all great winter activities accessible directly from the backyard. You can walk to the State park or apple orchard for sledding or put on your skates and hit the ice in the backyard. Ice Fisherman also enjoy the great fishing in the lake in the winter Limited interaction if none at all. If you use the sauna I will most likely talk with you about this and have you sign an additional waiver. Otherwise It all depends on my work schedule, if I'm working from home or traveling. You may catch me having a cocktail down near the water after work some evenings or taking the boat out and doing some waterskiing after work. On the weekends you'll find me around working on the grounds. If there are any problems or questions, I'm always available to help - send me a txt. Quiet, safe and great neighbors. At night you can often hear Owls, Coyotes, Whippoorwill and the occasional Fishercat. Local bears and moose roam the woods and you can spot them on occasion - in May 2017 we had bears visit and a moose swim across the lake! Great blue Herons, Osprey and Pileated woodpeckers are also regular visitors. The lake is great for swimming, kayaking, canoeing, saling and also has tremendous bass and carp fishing. In the winter the 501N Snowmobile trail opens up and you can snowmobile directly from the property. There are hundreds of miles of trails available. None, walking trails are great, hiking, biking. Renting a car is the best bet or using a uber/taxi. You can Snowmobile in the winter to get breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as gas and then head northwest to other great towns like Peterborough, Wilton, Hillsboro, Washington, or head north to Pittsburg, or even Maine and Canada.......right from the backyard!
