The Annexe at Penyrheol is a mountain property with fabulous views reaching as far as the Severn Bridge, Wentwood Forest and Llangegfedd Reservoir. The Annexe and the Studio are part of the owners’ small holding and they have renovated the accommodations to a very good standard in 2021. The Studio is on the ground floor and offers an open plan area which includes a kingsize bed, Smart TV, and kitchen which has cooker, hob, fridge, kettle, toaster, microwave and more, as well as an en-suite with shower cubicle. There is a small front patio with bistro set to enjoy your morning coffee and use of the property’s front lawned garden approximately 10 yards away. You can enjoy the benefit of access straight onto the common land which is perfect for walking your four legged friends, cycling or just exploring the countryside and enjoying the mountain air. You could walk to Blaen Bran Reservoir along the nature trail or up to Cwm Lickey pond. There is plenty to do in the local area; take a picnic to Pontypool Park and maybe venture to the “Grotto” or the “Folly”. You could also visit Llandegfedd Lake and water sport centre and enjoy some refreshments in their lovely café. The Big Pit National Coal Museum is a fabulous day out where you can experience the underground history of the Welsh Miners. Cwmbran town centre is only a short drive away and offers plenty of shops if you need a little retail therapy. The Annexe can be booked with the Studio (UK36235) to accommodate up to 4 guests.
