Stable cottage is a charming rural escape that is just for couples to spend a relaxing weekend together, but is also the perfect place for a longer stay from which to explore the wonderful location. This detached cottage offers a wonderful living/dining room with log burner, just perfect for chilly nights, and a sumptuous sofa to snuggle up and with a movie. The well equipped kitchen is perfect for rustling up everything from a quick meal to a more decadent feast, then as the day fades, you will find a spacious bedroom with dressing area and a super comfy kingsize bed with a separate shower room with double shower. For warmer days you have a private garden with seating and dining space, with a southerly aspect so perfect for relaxing, topping up the tan or simply sitting out with a cold drink; a charcoal BBQ is provided so you can cook and dine al fresco too! There are plenty of lovely walking routes and attractions to see close by, including Longleat with its safari park which makes for a great day out. Trowbridge, 1.5 miles away, has a great range of independant shops, pubs and restaurants, well kept parks, and a cinema. You can reach Bath in under 40 minutes, with its famous Abbey and Georgian architecture, and you must try the Thermae Bath Spa; this is a real treat. Stonehenge and Avebury are close by, and you will be spoilt for choice with the range of National Trust properties nearby, including Lacock Abbey, Fox Talbot Museum and Village, Stourhead and Dyrham Park to name a few.
