Town: Edgmond, a Shropshire village in the Telford and Wrekin borough, has two pubs, a Methodist chapel and hall, as well as a shop and post office. Harper Adams University, The Playing Fields, where Sunday cricket games and pub football matches are held, and the old sandstone quarry known as the 'Rock Hole' are all located here. The canal walk, which leads down to the town of Newport, is popular with locals and visitors to the community. Chetwynd Deer Park, a stunning 18th century landscape park with mature trees and large grassland on the outskirts of Edgmond, presently serves as the agricultural showgrounds. The town of Newport has many shops along its main street, as well as a variety of pubs and wine bars.
