Garden view room on a farm

Enjoy your stay in comfortable elegance with this beautiful home built in 1850. A sunlit full bedroom to yourself; an entry hall, sitting/breakfast area, and 1.5 baths shared with other potential guests. Or book all three rooms! Though the bathroom, living room and dining room are technically shared, I usually don't allow bookings to overlap. I hope all of my guests enjoy their privacy. This is a beautiful, Italianate style house built in 1850 that has been in our family from the beginning. This particular room has a beautiful window that looks out over a lovely garden and horse paddock. We love this old house and hope you will too! You'll have private access to your room; the other spaces on "your side" of the house are shared among guests. If you'd like to book all three rooms, then of course you will have access to everything (at a discount from booking individually). We will be on the other side of the house and available should you need anything, but for the most part will give you your privacy. We are within walking or biking distance of downtown Versailles, 10 minutes drive to Keeneland Racetrack and the airport, 25 minutes to downtown Lexington, and 8 miles from Woodford Reserve Distillery (a beautiful 15 minute drive or a nice bike ride). You'll likely want a car since there isn't much public transportation here. We have three great dogs. Though they won't be in your rooms, they will be outside from time to time and will likely want to greet you when you come and go. For this reason, this home might be best for dog lovers!
