Adorable, Cozy & Clean Higgins Cottage with kayaks

Experience the beauty of pristine Higgins Lake . 10,000 acres of crystal clear spring water and sandy shores. Short less than 5 minute walk to lake and road end dock from our charming cottage . Great views of both sunrise and sunsets from our area of the lake. Swim or kayak from our shared dock . We have two kayaks for guest use. Samoset Park and beach is a half mile away Boat launch is just a few blocks away . Close to two state parks. One hour from Traverse City. 99 miles to Mackinaw Bridge Our vacation home is a great place to relax and enjoy Higgins Lake. The house is recently remodeled and super clean . Kitchen is completely stocked with all necessities including coffee maker and griddle . There are three comfy queen size beds with new sheets, pillows and blankets. 1 and 1/2 bathrooms with bath towels provided. There is washer and dryer for your use. We have a fire pit and will provide firewood . There is a gas grill for outdoor cooking. Attached two car garage with extra living space Having over 10 years of hosting experience , we know our guests appreciate a prompt reply to questions or issues We have a vacation home just down the street if you need us. We are happy to help with directions , questions or anything else you may need. Just call or text anytime Walk to township park with public beach , bbq, playground (half mile) Walk to party store that has just about anything you may have forgotten! Great neighborhood Quiet and relaxing! The cottage is located halfway between both of the state parks so they are each only a ten minute drive away. There is a boat launch one mile away for smaller boats and watercraft . The DNR launch is just 2.5 miles up the road . Covid free. The house is disinfected thoroughly prior to your stay. . We also provide lysol and bleach spray for use during your stay. Bath towels and bedding are provided but you will need to bring your own beach towels. Our shared road end dock is seasonal There is no overnight mooring of boats. You will need take kayaks down to the lake and back to the house after using . Day boat anchoring only. If you’re bringing ORVs I will provide information on local ordinances regarding their use in area.
