Quiet, Comfortable Bedroom across from a Park.

A comfy, good-sized bedroom, with queen bed and jazzy, positionable track lighting. The bedroom is on the first floor of the house, which includes a living room, kitchenette and a half bath, all for your use as a guest. The home is spacious and comfortable, right across the street from a nice park, walking distance to nice restaurants and the train to New York. If you would like a true B'n'b experience, I am a talented and passionate cook, and can provide breakfast or dinner, for $15 per person. The bedroom is very quiet, a good room for sleeping. There are shelves to put your clothes. A comfortable reading nook, with two chairs for sitting. There is a living room adjacent to your bedroom, which you are welcome to use. There is a kitchenette with microwave, tea kettle, coffee maker, and refrigerator. Just around the corner is a private half-bath. Showering requires coming up to the upper level, although you will be the only one using the shower during your stay. There is a water filter on the shower head. The lower level has radiant heat, and wall to wall carpeting. The house has central air conditioning. I live upstairs, and I'm happy to give you plenty of privacy, although I am available to show you how things work and tell you about this historical, cultural, dining out mecca, and exciting town. If you prefer to eat at home, I am a passionate and talented cook. A healthy, special breakfast or dinner can be provided, for $15 per person, *with advance notice.* We're are very near to Speedwell Lake Park, with field stone foundations and a pretty waterfall. Also near the Patriot's Path, dating back to routes traveled during the Revolutionary War . This is "George Washington slept here" territory. You can walk to town, and we have multiple Spanish restaurants nearby, and upscale restaurants of all cuisine types slightly further. You can walk to the center of town, the Morristown Green. We also have a nice movie theater within walking distance to the house. There are multiple nice grocery stores, including a large health food store. There is a bus-route 2 blocks away. The Morristown Train station, where you can catch trains for New York City and Philadelphia (change in Summit) is a 12 minute Uber drive away.
